Desert View Family Counseling is a nonprofit organization that offers accessible, responsive and comprehensive mental health services for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and other trauma, including co-occurring disorders. We offer mental health assessments, domestic violence assessments and substance abuse assessments.  We also provide services for “ At Risk” Youth who have behavioral, academic and family issues. Lastly, we work with sexually re-active youth (juvenile sex offenders) from the ages of 4-18.Desert View provides 24/7 Crisis Response Services.

We’re here to assist our clients with obtaining the services and financing options that best fit their needs. Desert View has several funding sources that may help pay for counseling services.  

We accept Medicaid, most private insurances and self-pay based on a sliding fee schedule.

Desert View is partially funded by San Juan United Way, Farmington New Mexico.

Requirement for Services : Social security number and Medicaid information (If applicable) are required for intake. Desert View accepts Medicaid, private insurance and utilizes an income based sliding fee scale.

 

We also have funding from various grants available. Sources of Funding : DOH-BHSD (Department of Health Behavioral Health Services Division) CYFD (Children's Youth and Families Department), CBH (Children's Behavioral Health-Optum Health), VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) and SJUW (San Juan United Way).
